Meet the Team
Kenneth Nix
Owner & Project Manager
Kenny is a second-generation flooring expert with over 20 years in the industry. After honing his skills in hardwood, tile, and cabinetry—including time with a Carpet One franchise in Connecticut—he returned to the Lowcountry to launch Nix Flooring & Design. Since 2019, he’s led the company with a focus on quality, design, and in-house craftsmanship. Kenny lives in Bluffton with his wife, Heather, and their three daughters: Chandler, Rachel, and Sami.
Chandler Nix
Project Manager
Chandler is a recent USCB 2025 graduate with a bachelor's degree in business administration & marketing. Now part of the family business, Chandler works in kitchen design and customer experience while training for her real estate license and CrossFit L1 coaching certification. She is passionate about fitness, boating, and good food. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, family, and friends whether that includes shopping, relaxing at the beach, or being just outside in general.
Adam Schultz
Sales Manager
A Bluffton native and military veteran, Adam brings strong leadership, communication, and local insight to his role at Nix Flooring & Design. Since joining the company in 2019, he’s worked alongside Kenny Nix to help build one of the Lowcountry’s most trusted names in flooring and cabinetry. Adam holds a psychology degree from USCB and is known for his customer first approach, problem-solving skills, and passion for design. Adam enjoys CrossFit, hiking with family & pairing great food with even better wine.
Ricky Weathers
Designer
Born and raised in Bluffton, Ricky has been immersed in the world of construction since childhood, thanks to his parents’ long careers with Grayco. With a natural talent for design, he self-taught 2020 Design software and has been confidently designing kitchens for more than three years. In 2020, he pursued Civil Engineering at the University of South Carolina, where he developed a keen eye for structure and detail — and became a devoted Gamecock fan.
Tiffani Dara
Office Manager
Born and raised in the beautiful state of South Carolina, Tiffani is a proud mother of two boys who loves spending summers on the coast and soaking up the sunshine. In her free time, she enjoys making memories with her family, especially through baking and cooking homemade dinners. During the fall, she can often be found cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs at college football games—one of her favorite seasonal traditions.
